Nah, he's only 81

I saw him on tour 20 odd years ago, and HE looked nearly dead then. He seemed to be a bit "under the weather".

Danielle and I have decided that for our birthdays we're going to treat ourselves to tickets for the War of the Worlds later this year.
She's about 24hours older than me (woot! I'm a toyboy) so I get to tease her for being a year older than me for a whole day

Make sure you get in there early Xac, the tickets fly out. Managed to get mine the moment they went on sale.

Really looking forward to it, I absolutely love the album

18th must be Wembley, that should be a good one.

I see they have now announced the role of Parson Nathaniel too. Not sure how good that one is going to be

Just got back from picking up train tickets for work tomorrow, and Juliet rises much quicker than before.

Finally found some time to work on Cassy's faulty ABS sensor.
What I couldn't find was the replacement one I'd bought!

I phoned Jim incase I'd left it at his with a plan on sorting it out earlier, but alas I had not. On the plus side, he did have a spare old one which I will swap with the new one once I've found it.

While I was at Jim's we had a quick look at Juliet's suspension, as I'm sure I've been hearing a high pitch whistle/hiss when going from low to high, but we couldn't hear a thing (not helped by the blowing exhaust manifold).
Jim did see how slow the rear is to react, and it did not like going onto low, remaining rock hard slightly below normal height.
There was also a "twang/clunk" form underneath as she did go down so something is obviously sticking or being fought against.
I've got a spare A/S sphere which I may fit inplace of the front activa sphere just to see if that helps. Really I need to test all the spheres.
Next time I get a chance I'll get her up on the ramps at Finmere and have a good look at the back to see if it's sticking.

Got home and replaced the ABS sensor, the light is now out and the ABS works

Re-fitted the steering column cover that I'd taken off while trying to find the cause of the rear heater not working.
Never got to the bottom of it, but MoT is more important.
And that's the next job, get it booked in.

Juliet had a free one, unfortunately its too late for cassy.
Mr Clutch are doing them for £21 although I'm sure I've got an email saying through work I can get an mot for a tenner

Well, I got a phone call from IN'n'OUT Services this morning asking when I'd like Cassy to be MoT'd.
I jokingly said "I'd love tomorrow but I bet you can't fit me in"
Amazingly they could, 1:30pm Cassy will be prodded and poked and revved and shaken, and with a bit of luck be given a new MoT certficate

With the rail strikes I'm going to be driving into London two days next week, plus all the work mileage on the other days, having Cassy back on the road will start making me money rather than costing me (we get 11ppm and Juliet costs more than twice that).
With a tax bill of £4400 to pay thanks to a certain accountancy firm comitting fraud that they're probably going to get away with, I need to be saving as much as possible.

Looks like round the back of Kingston Tescos, on the way to Bedford/Wavendon.
