xantia rescue

Hey everyone one im having a bit of a hard time, ive being trying to find some calipers bolts for the xantia, ive called three scrap yard that where braking xanis and non of them had anny I’ve tried seeing if the are anny for sale onthe online but i carnt find any for sale does anybody know somwhere that sells them

Both.i lost two on the rear,they snapped when I tried to remove them.and two on the front also got pretty chewed up when trying to remove them

I have some used rear ones but they will need a good clean up, i posted a pic of a rear suspension arm (in a yellow box) i have on this thread viewtopic.php?t=67638 where they can just about be seen, if you want them you can either arrange to collect them & have them FOC or i'll post them out for a few quid. If your interested i'll try and upload a better photo of them.

Ah thanks that would be perfect as iv been really struggling to find anything and I’ve been looking everywhere.and i could start putting together the rear suspension again, ill pm you my details just let me know the cost andill use paypal to send it over

Hey everyone i was looking for some advice on removing the rear trailing arm/ hydraulic ram. I’ve removed the two clips the hp line the trailing arm bolt the only thing is i carnt see how to remove the hydraulic ram the plunger stops me from pushing it forward and i carnt tell how to remove the plnger its self if anybody has any advice id be much appreciative

hey everyone iv seen its been along time so i thought i should post a update to lrt people know how its getting on.
so to begin scince the last update about the trailing arm i have removed the exaust goten the idea to get it to a mirror finish realised it would take way to much effort
and just left it like this i might finish this off later to be fair but i think im going to use a ruffer grit sand paper on the angle grinder to make it quicker.
i striped and cleaned the hydraulic rams
i then started to strip both trailing arms of and cleaned them and painted them
and i think thats everything i hope you have enjoyed the updat my next goal is to start striping the hydraulic componentes and the the rear subfram saterday suposedly has some good weather so hopfully i can attack it the

Didn't see this at the time or I could have pointed you to the nightmare of removing a rear hydraulic ram on the xantia, but you already got over the most difficult part removing the bottom clip.

Ah thanks pal,to be fair the only major rust spots are the strut towers which is a common problem, and the sills the is surface rust but thats to be expected on a 24 year old car

Ive read they can be a real pain.but luckily with just a pair of mole grips and a screwdriver i manged to pry it it out

Hi everyone ive striped and un sized the hight corrector. I was lucky enough to find a guide to help me through the process i want to tackle the rear control block and was wondering if anyone had any advice or another guide they could post for help, if not I might just clean it up and leave it alone
