MOT is booked in for tomorrow and just need to finish work early to do it.

The gearbox feels fine and doesn't seem to slip at all, and whilst slow off the lights it's smooth thru all the gears going up and is rougher coming down in sport mode but I expect that from a gearbox in sport mode :)

Will, when are you taking the V6 for am MOT?

Drive a tweaked TCT first before thinking of V6-ing an Activa

I think you're going to have to demonstrate yours for me Jim, it sounds very interesting indeed.

What valve did you get Jim?

Don't worry I'm not V6'ing the activa I have a slowly forming plan for this activa and will keep it that way ;)

The future may allow my full activa plan though but the feedstock is dwindling scarily!

I've got loads of 'em Will... Enough to keep all my old wirelesses and amps in operation for a few years yet...

Bit of a random question in amongst talk of tweaked Activas :?

So, you haven't let on when Simon's old V6 is going for an MOT

I'm going to hazard a guess and offer the suggestion that Will was enquiring as to what manual boost controller valve you purchased...

Ahh, you see Mike valves mean only one thing to me :) Glass things (usually) that glow and make wirelesses work in a delightful way...

To be honest I don't know what MBC it is. All I know is it makes me smile. Chris570 may be able to answer the posed qquestion.

I had a MBC on my Activa before it was converted to a V6 and it made a big difference but I still prefer the V6 :D

Ha ha oh Jim!!! :D I like old valves as well but I did mean the boost control valve :)

I've had some experience of mbc's before and found pbv's are good for a smoother boost curve :)

Oh stop tempting me with dropping the V6 in Jim! Unless you fancy doing the work with me and team wfa one weekend ;)

I never did Will! I'm more than happy with a TCT and MBC :)

I'd love to do a V6 conversion though but sadly time and resources are against me. perhaps when I retire maybe...
