Here's a first!!! :bd: :bd: :bd:
A rarity!!
A rarity!!
As it happens there is a story behind it. When I was firstly chatting up my wife to be, in her Dad's pub where she was working behind the bar, I said "It's a bit quiet in here, I'll put some music on the jukebox". We were in the Lounge Bar and there was a remote selector for the jukebox on the wall. As I walked over to it I looked back over my shoulder and asked "Anything in particular you'd like?" In a flash she said "Put C7 on" -- and so it became 'our song', now you know the rest :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Same here. Guessed Prince, never heard of the one it was. No regrets on that score either.

Needless to say there is a story behind this performance too! Just after our first daughter was born I decided to learn classical guitar. My teacher believed that while learning classical, it was also beneficial for light relief to learn and play some popular music. I picked this track as it had such an intrigueing intro which hooked me and so for a couple of months I spent 25 minutes a day practising my classical pieces and 5 minutes a day on this. Sadly I never did get as close to playing it as I had with my clarinet choice while still at school!! :-D

Virtuoso again for me too, wonder what the characteristic about the songs is that within 1 second you know what it is.
Whether you like them or not, they just seep in.

Not sure where that guitar intro features on Rick Beato's top 20, but at number 1 was a single chord from one of your favourites.

I should have twigged with the guitar, Tori is a pianist. Voice is similar though.

I 'know' today's. The artist and title just won't surface, as so often happens.

Correct. Today's Heardle was number 2 on the Rick Beatos Acoustic guitar intros, but the band are notorious blockers of their material.

The song that made it to 4 on Rick's Acoustic Guitar Intros is a beatles one, and Rick mentioned that the intro for that one covered the entire verse melody in the introduction guitar part....do you know what it is?
