The last "Nicole - Papa" advert had Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer in it, the ads died with the Mk1 Clio.

In the 1980 film 'Diva' by Jacques Beinix, one of the main protagonists drives a 11CV (actually two of them).
The assassins have an R12 Break, the cops a black R16 and there are countless other French cars to spot in the street scenes,

Haven't got a clip to link, but there was a Citroen something or other in Keith Floyd's telly programme, 'Far Flung Floyd', when he was in Vietnam. It looked like a Traction, but could well have been something similar.

Sarah chose a film to watch tonight... Called Bottle Shock... A 2008 American comedy-drama film based on the 1976 wine competition termed the "Judgment of Paris", when California wine defeated French wine in a blind taste test...
