The Collie and the canvas tilt finishes it off a treat... The tilt is nicely in keeping with the rest of the vehicle... Just lovely...

Proper aircon too... None of this pansy windows shut tight against the world stuff...

Boy, did I ever feel sorry for all those poor sods stuck ion their air-conned tin boxes this afternoon when i was out in the open air on my bike enjoying the gorgeous weather to the maximum extent possible... A few rag-tops had their tops down but my experience of modern rag-tops is you feel bugger-all wind in them.. May as well not be rag-tops at all now... They're sterile...

Only proper rag-top I saw was an immaculate red MGB :)

I made my own cooling air by cycling fast ;)

Rag Tops are pretty pointless anyway, you either get sunburnt or cold. I'm trying to talk her indoors out of buying one at the moment! It'd have to be a 4 seater too, so it would need to be German!

I love my air-con. It keeps all the dust and pollen and filth out of the car, thus out of my lungs and iffy airways.

I really do like that landie. Its far better restored to be solid but look like an old well used landie rather than a new old vehicle.

Have a chat with Mike (Xantia_V6) about that Davie, I'm sure he can offer some good advice...

I must admit I have the same issue with my tablet. I rarely use it and end up wanting to use it as a chopping board when I do - about all it's any good for...

My Windows phone works perfectly, as do my Linux machines, both desktop and laptop...

Pleased to report you're no longer double-posting now :)

I left the C5x7 at home today and called on two clients in this, who needs a barge on country roads in the sunshine (32deg).

Oil temps never got over 100deg nor did the water rise above 95-100deg before falling again to 90deg. If the car works in these temperatures then I am happy it is all healthy inside :)

It certainly is Alasdair... Your Activa is in very rude health :) After all, you do look after it like a baby!
