It's really very mild here today, which helps my ailments so I took the heater fan out of the activa, and right enough the new resistor pack doesn't work. So it and the old one are posted to citro towers for inspection/repair. The car now has a bodge, shock horror! Only temporary though. Joined the red wires and black wires so the fan comes on full blast when the engine is running. It's better than no fan at all!

Well Spanish trip computers tell lies! The 63.3 mpg it was saying had reduced to 59.7 by the time I had done near 600 miles. When filled and worked out the actual real mpg is 55.3. That's still impressive for me, and money wise costs less than than 1/2 for fuel than the activa, and is better than 10mpg more than the berlingo was. It's a decent drive too, and although not bad for comfort and handling ain't no match for the activa but not so far away as you would think. The activa is safe enough though, it's still special [emoji41] [emoji4] [emoji7]

Have you had any problems with people pulling out on you now that it's common knowledge the new Leon brakes by itself? I've been wondering about this recently, some drivers will surely just abuse modern anti crash systems and pull out on all Volvos and VAG cars.

No problems with folk pulling out on me but then my Leon is a Jan 2006 car so its 11 years old, not new. Im happy with 55mpg for the use it gets. The activa is about 23 any time i can be bothered checking!

I think if I was going to test someone else's braking radar system, which I'm not going to do by the way, I would make sure it was a 2016 car or later so you should be fairly safe.
