I can't really tell from that but would it be these?

Nope. It looks (from what I can see) like a cage with a twist rivet through it, and it is all in one.

Found a picture on Aussiefrogs, looks a bit special, can't find it listed in the UK except at the dealers.

7030 16 are shown on the diagram I posted earlier and here again - top left number 10 for the MK I:
7013 V8 are the new combo clips from RPO 09741
7030 18 is number 11 next door which they go into.
James 2.PNG
7030 16 are 67p each, but can easily be obtained on the bay of evil for much much less - they are nothing special.
7013 V8 are 56p each.
7030 18 are 30p each from Citroen.

They are available from other sellers - but watch out - another extortionate rip off price like this:

http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayIS ... 7000&ver=0

Nearly double for the screw and fixing - plus another £1 for postage! Another example where the dealer is much cheaper.

There is a later variant of some sort. My C5 has the RPO 10041CJ. If you look on the Cyrillic web page I posted, item 8 is the closest to the items securing the deflectors on my C5.

Item 8 on the Russian site is the same part as I pictured from Aussiefrogs, I've never seen any like that, the ones 10 & 11 that Marc refers to are the bog standard engine undertray fasteners, I've got a few of those in stock.

That might be the Aussiefrogs item. I have ordered 24 (I need 22, plus a couple of spares, just in case), as well as 12 of the nut washers.

Right, I don't have your VIN, so for RPO later than 9741, then it will be these combo jobs:
James 3.PNG
7013 V8 and 56p
I've amended the table above to reflect this and the prices.

Thanks Marc, that looks like the item holding the air deflectors in place.

I think I have discovered a new fact about canines. They can, under certain circumstances, choose to shed their coats. How else can I explain the fact that (after a hot journey to Birmingham and back, in a car without functioning air conditioning) the inside of my car appeared to be hairier than the dog herself. I have since cleaned the car, but the vacuum cleaner has now developed a hairball!

As a trader dogs in cars was a real downer, a devil of a job to valet especially those short haired buggers that left bristles like Christmas tree needles sewn into the upholstery and carpets.

If there is a need to do this again, before the hot weather goes, or before you get your AC fixed, take my Grand Picasso. Dog can sit in the large boot on a blanket, with water etc.

Mine still has dog hair on the back of the seats from the car the seats were in previously.
Been about five years since I fitted them.

Possibly something useful for other C5 Mk1 owners to know. Recently I gave the windscreen a good clean (and an application of Rain-X). As we know, to lift the blades away from the windscreen you have to pop the wipers into the maintenance position (dab the wipers within 30 seconds of removing the ignition key). Once I had finished, I got back in, dabbed the wipers (to return them to their normal position), and started the car. As the starting cycle requires a lot of power it appears the 'unnecessary' systems are momentarily shut down, and this includes the wipers. What I then experienced was (a few degrees up from their normal parked position) the front wiper system stopped working (and this included the wash option). The only thing that got them working again was to remove the relevant fuse (from the engine bay fuse box) and re-seat it (the fuse was intact). As soon as I turned the ignition back on the wipers completed their interrupted journey, and have not played up since.

Great, thank you gents. Tesco will get a visit tomorrow.

By the way, if anybody is interested, Asda have a few Rain X products for sale. This include Rain X, Anti Fog (for the inside of the glass) (these 2 items are £5 each, but occasionally they have these two in a kit for £7), windscreen repair kit and headlight refurb kit (£15 each).
[/quote]

I thought I had found something new, that worked, but after doing a search the forum, obviously not :(

I wanted to pass on the experience I had with Rain-X Anti-fog, currently at Halfords for £5 (wipes)
I have been getting into my car recently and moving off, then about 50 yards up the road I can't see a dam thing, so I had to pull over and let the demister do its work, well for the three mornings, under similar conditions, not misted screen - perfect. :-D
