Condolences to all family and friends.

I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times and was a larger than life character and i can see why he was so loved. I hope you have a Citroen to tinker with where you are Malcolm.

Very sad to learn of Malcolm's passing.
Malcolm fixed both my Citroen Xantia and later my C5. He was always very successful and I met him through this forum.

I spent many a time talking to Malcolm and we definitely lost a great character and a very knowledgeable Citroen Mechanic.

But he continues to be remembered on this forum.

He had a great humour and was a great man to share jokes with.

We will all miss you Malcolm.

This forum is a quiet place without him. His wit, and his knowledge were much appreciated. However, how much sadder would it be if he had never been here? I treasure the time we knew him.

Martin, that's excellent! Made my day reading that and I'm sure Malcolm will be just as delighted to know too :D It's put a big smile on my face...

Yes I don't see my brother much now. He decided to do his own thing. I don't know his number or address but I think about him every day.

I have two brothers who took off and did their thing and never return calls or emails, and I only ever see them at funerals. My sister and I are close. Funny things, families!

as those who came to the funeral know we are a big family i had 4 brothers and 4 sisters
some get on others dont

Mike and i both said to our wives if the other one is going then we were not (didnt want an atmosphere at malcolms funeral)
well turns out we both went not knowing the other was going to be there
So, after the eulogy etc we were heading to get our cars mike and i walking next to each other ( not realising this ) i heard him say he didnt know where his car was and he was following this chap (meaning me) as he was parked behind me. I turned and held out my hand and introduced myself he did the same ( still neither realising) Mikes wife Denise then said to Mike "dont you even know your own brother" :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: (using this as i understand it was malcolms favourite emoticon )
we started chatting and we are as close as we were 30 yrs ago now .... or possibly even closer :-D :-D :-D

If Malcolm dying is what it took to get you back together, then he probably would say it might have been worthwhile. Others may not agree. I wish you had got back together before he died, as you would also have got to know him better than we here did.
