That was a local car from around here (Cote d'Or registration). I think I saw it parked in Dijon about a year ago, the only time I have ever noticed a V6 Activa here.

Nice looking example, keep it lhd and sort the issues. The V6's do go pretty well after 4000rpm.

I must agree with you there, it looks in really good order and rust free. The issues it has aren't much at all. The others can be broken for spares.

For a bit of hilly twisty fun near you try Zig-Zag Hill near Shaftesbury...

Not far from you and I can personally attest, great fun in an Activa...

Take your V6 Activa there as soon as possible and discover it all over again

How did an Austin Cambridge fare on it?

....funny but really really badly , but that was not the point...it was fun just hanging on and it was all I had.....now Mums Hillman Imp....now that WAS bad..

More work stripping the V6....engine out soon.

The Engine loom is generally in good condition throughout its lengths. Some extensions and plug connections had become a little brittle.
The big problem is the hardening (crumbles when touched) of the loom protection sheath. This shows up at the front and where there is constant heat.

Busy....ohhh very yes :)

Will have a look at those door motors at the weekend if that's OK.

I have decided however, despite the tempting
"OK, thats easy, just drill/chop out the sections in the V6 and weld it into the Avtiva"
report from my welder mate I have decided to strip the required components from the Activa and let it live on as parts on a shelf. I will be gutted to do this to such a unique design but what else is there to do ?, it will go the way of many.

Man...I HATE plastic....deffo an area that needs extra protection from heat.

That said, I left the heat guard off the Healey once and after 1/2hour, the shopping bag in the passenger foot-well melted :)
(even with, in the summer its a slow cooker in the passenger seat come summer.
