ES9J4 V6 Auxiliary Belt

I own an 2000 ES9J4, manual gearbox.
The HP pump is leaking..
I read elsewhere this HP pump is different, probably not interchangable..
Cant find a full repair kit except for this, but not in stock..

The "Pump" is the same but the pulley/main shaft are unique to the ES9 engine'd cars.....it is NOT interchangeable with any other Xantia/XM.

My advice would be to talk to one of the Citroen specialists in the Netherlands and ask them who could rebuild the pump for you (I believe there is a very good company in NL)....It would be good practice to have the Regulator rebuilt at the same time the pump is off the car as that could be getting a bit weak now as well.

I have another pump, is it possible to see from the outside if it is common XM or ES9J4?

The pump is only leaking from the part on the second picture..strange seal

The pump on the ES9J4 is different..
Lists as 4007Q9.



I need a full set of seals etc.

The lower pump in the diagram above is the ES9 pump, it uses the same size o-rings as the other 6+2 pumps. Citroen never published a part number for a seal kit, you have to buy the o-rings individually.

I learned on the Dutch forum, i need a seal NBR 90shore 19x2.4 of 19x2.5.
Moment @ 30Nm, more will damage the bolt.
