On later vehicles without the accumulator and extra gubbins, they've removed all that and just use the main battery (as in my case), which means of course it doesn't work 99% if you only do occasional miles / use. I had a battery replaced under warranty, but once it goes under 80%, Stope Start won't work.
I just don't bother with it, as the car can sit for 7 days without use. Even when the new battery was fitted by Citroen, it lasted all of about 2 weeks then stopped working again. Not exactly environmentally friendly if you have to keep charging the battery up from the mains every week just to get S&S to work! Besides, I'd rather save the extra wear on the reinforced starter to be honest.
