Very unlikely to be the BSI as that is generally protected being internal to the vehicle.

I agree, it's more so I can check the route to the BSI.
It could well be the Airbag ecu itself but that shows no signs of corrosion or anything untoward so just want to make sure I'm seeing all of the splices and potential pinch points before I spend out on an ecu. It's probably far more likely a wire than the module, I just can't find anything obvious, unfortunately.
I'm capable of 'hiding' the fault, but I (and my face in the event of a crash) would prefer a more ethical resolution.
Besides, it's one of the last bugs left on this Citroën so I'm determined to find the fault. It's a bit of a daunting task though that it seems to be a carpet and seats back out job to get a full view of the wiring and this weather is not being generous to me.
