All on hold as my graphics card in the PC has decided to throw bit faults.....not an expense I can do with !

Steve, I hope you're suggesting he use the UHU on the graphics card, not the XM?

It was just with reference to Jim's superglue suggestion.

I glued a large washer to the back of my front door with UHU, to engage a magnet on the doorstop. Lasted a couple of weeks. Back to the drawing board but I suspect that screws will be involved.

Both doors drift closed if left on their own, making bringing bikes in problematic. The front door has a uPVC skin.

Which is why it came to mind as a useless solution.

I've never had any luck with any glues at all and do my best to avoid them wherever possible. All I've ever managed to stick with Superglue is my fingers...

What a day,,,,,1st Graphics card......then the Microwave stopped.....so I went to Tesco, a headlamp bulb in the AX has blown !

Usurper !

Glues......USE the CORRECT glue for the job....the job is the base & the component, their use, the environment and their material proprieties/forces to be applied.

UHU or "Super Glue" is rarely the answer......that is the same thinking as [Use XYZ Grease] .."ahh, I will use something slippy like Vaseline in my wheel bearings" !
