Imagine a Saxo with a V6 engine and Activa suspension! The Hot Hatch boyz will never know what burned them off the lights and out-cornered them round the country lanes!

I suspect with a V6 engine it would go straight through the hedge on the corner :)

I washed the AX, looked at it and it seems I have been following a Tar Spreader truck !....hundreds of black spots of tar ALL over it.....so polish one, polish two !

Nice selection of chevron bearers there Alasdair, unusual to see that variety in one picture!! :-D

Finished the engine bay now....

I even rubbed out all the rust on the inside leading edge (caused by small chips spreading) and repainted it....just for protection really rather than "perfect"

Awesome work Alasdair! I can barely believe that's the same car as I drove down to you back at the beginning of September :)

You do know you've made several spider families homeless now you've made the engine bay sparkle :lol: They were my pets!

But no worries, I see they have already colonised Polly's door mirrors...
