It may be something simple - like resetting the clutch / gearbox grid routine - this is the problem with these boxes it's the diagnosing that takes so much time.

If it were me, I really wouldn't be taking it to indies unless they are specialists in this type of box. It may pay you in the long run to get it to Citroen, who may know the problem and save a lot of time. It's relatively low mileage for a 2010, so it may just need a calibration or clutch change.

100% agree

That's what I mean about these people (independant) don't know and just guess their way around it....Needs a new box mate nonsense

All my cars are CanBus and if the voltage is at all uneccessary, then the excrement flies into the rotating counter force impellor  Basically, any poor battery output WILL cause some silly, unrelated nonsense. But don't buy a battery until you have checked the ability to hold a charge and/or the alternator state of output.
Has anyone seen the plot? :?

My car has the same problem, my gearbox was rebuilt, new clutch, flywheel skimmed. Mine plays up after about 40mins of driving, the actuator had already been reset and happened again. When it happens the electronic gearbox light comes up, it starts being jumpy, slipping out of gear, stalling, not been able to get in gear. Very stressful not being able to move stuck in random places on busy roads.
I have attached all my fault codes I have gotten over the past months. I am sure it needs a new gearbox actuator as it always seems to happen when warm.

These can be complicated to deal with and need specialist attention or you will end up wasting money - I'd really suggest you bet it to a dealer to properly resolve or you could end up going in circles and wasting money.

If you want some help with the fault codes, pop your VIN up. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

I have found over the years, that if a vehicle is fine when cold, but messy when it gets hot, it's "usually" (not always) the crank sensor or a similar sensor that detects rotation. But in my experience, a crank sensor can cause all manner of maladies, but doesn't necessarily flag up a code. You need to get live data or even an oscilloscope to check the output.

Might be worth trying that first.

Did you get this sorted?
I've just bought a Citroen Nemo 1.4 auto 2010
I've just had a 'check transmission' code on the dash and wouldn't start
I left it turned it back on and it started fine, but I presume it will happen again? Any ideas on how to fix this?
