Re: Peugeot 207 1.4hdi low additive ...
Ok so today a new 1.1L additive bag was replaced and the codes all reset , now when the car ignition is switched on the pump from the bag location makes a noise then it stops as soon as the engine runs, it didn't do this before so I'm taking its now working as it should due to the new bag and a reset, how much would this job cost private and with main dealer ?

As long as you followed the diagnostic procedure for a replacement pouch (priming) and reset the additive counter to zero, which is not the same as just clearing the fault codes (although they would need doing in addition).
The time for the combined replacement of the reservoir pouch (in situ) is 0.50 and then the ECU operations, another 0.40, so 0.90 x by their hourly rate. So if for example it was £90 an hour, then £81 - plus the all important VAT of course, so £97 ball part plus the parts cost.

Hi marc yes planet did the priming sequence and i had to calculate the miles over to km then it said it recognised the additive bag had been replaced then cleared the faults about an empty bag then i started the car up and all clear. So less than a £100 , seeing how much the tank refill can cost is shocking .
