Re: My zx estate.
Hi
I have got a passenger side headlight from my lovely Citroen zx estate
Which I unfortunately rolled some years ago on an iced up stretch of
Road.
Would there be anybody interested in buying this?
Reasonable offer please.
Regards

Re: My zx estate.
So we have a drip ....
opened up the car a few days ago to be greeted by a puddle both sides in the foot wells , it is the window screen rubber in two places and the drip can be free flowing . I have a new cover and have been running now 2 dehumidifiers. This morning was a pleasant surprise the carpets have dried very well indeed from a soggy sponge to a mild damp feel . Both units also purify the air . The car felt dry and warm when I opened it up , unlike 3 or 4 days ago that stone cold wet feeling . Now warm and dry and a fresh smell too
Please enjoy some random photos of the car , the more I'm going to the car the more I'm wanting to drive it lol

Re: My zx estate.
Maybe overkill but if trying to seal with PU sealant fails then would replacement under your insurance policy cover a new screen / seal?

That's a possible route I may consider ,sort of after the new yr current rebuilding the hub carriers for the 308cc , 42mm lower ball joints
ive spent a few hours this morning cleaned them as they were a spare set when I purchased the car , even though i put new ones on it ( cheep) the lower ball joints have gone , the spare set are clean and ready for there new ball joints .

Checked the dehumidifiers and got out from both just over half a tank each , 1 tank is 500ml the other is 2.5L , so its pulling out the wetness, the wetness monster

I charged the battery it was fully charged within 17 hours . The old girl fired into life first turn of the key i then took this selection of photos showing how some places that can leak oil are not , a little crusty part under front wiper scuttle, and some of the inside . Sitting in the car , them seats are so comfortable

Re: My zx estate.
I see you forgot your pin code then too?
Sylv's 1.9TD ZX is still not starting. Sadly I think I am going to have to do the same.
If only there was some way of finding out the code like plugging in an oscilloscope and looking at the pattern each key press makes...

The new wire on the solenoid was done several yr back as the old one was leaking diesel and the original wire was no good so it got replaced for some new copper

Yeah I know im thinking of checking the whole car over brakes and so on , ive always left the handbrake off and chocked the wheels so its rolling free.
The plates to weld are small so that won't be to bad and as with everything project wise , time weather and cash lol
