It is very big. Hence my comments about interior space. It has a lot of design cues from the old E-Mehari of 2016. It was equally bloated for the space it gave. Just bring back a modern Mehari that functions. There is a demand for it in the light commercial/passenger segment and the Oli could be that original Mehari replacement. A hardtop version with removeable "cardboard" roof panels would be versatile. But then Citroen also did the Pluriele and it never really had success.
Make the Oli span the car and the small LCV segments and they could have a winner.

Give it power sockets for tools, flat, tough working surfaces and a tailgate that tradesmen can properly work on and it will get snapped up as a dual purpose workhorse and find a niche with the ordinary public who want the Utility look with bells on IMO.

Shades of the original Trabant construction with its resin impregnated cotton waste body panels. There's nothing new under the sun :)

They worked though. I am a fan of twin walled panels. They are immensely strong and light if engineered properly. Many F1 monoques will attest to that as will tank armour!

They worked..... until they were reduced to confetti in the fast lanes of the autobahns by Ossi's who weren't used to such roads and fast moving BMWs 8-[

This is a Mehari Ranger with a hardtop. Made in South America. It's body is GRP as they did not possess the equipment to make the ABS panels back then. Perfectly useable light car/utility/workhorse with lots of space and functionality - and you can see some of the Oli styling cues around the front wings and bonnet.

Yes, according to the lovely Ginny, (Electrifying), some of the design features will feature in the upcoming 2024-C3, she was mostly referring to the lighting, but the incar entertainment idea works with me, just connect your mobile phone and get a satnav & audio unit, except I do like a radio station to listen too as I don't stream.
She also suggested, that a version of the oli may make it to production...... Watch this space?
