Hi Peter,

In the end there was no workaround... I was naughty in that I did not finish off this tread. My planed workaround did not work...

I had to source the correct part and that meant buying another scrap engine to source a spare flanged spacer.

I did make a special puller for the spacer and that will be described in my blog...

You may have to travel back many pages to find the relevant bits. My Saxo is now log gone after developing serious rust issues.
