James,

I have run Disk clean up and now have 22GB but I have also ordered a 512GB flash drive and will copy some of the data from C drive onto this to free up even more space. I also have 64GB SDXcard in the computer which I will upgrade.

Try running Disk Cleanup again, and (when it gives you the option) click on the "Clean up system files" button. You may find even more space is freed up. I just did so on my PC and got back 9GB!

That's probably a nominal 128GB hard drive. That's a small capacity nowadays. How old is the computer?
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Paul,

Its a Surface Pro 7 so not that old. Just full of data I will almost certainly never look at or listen to again! Needs a spring clean!

I have a RAID 4 TB drive on the home network so I will transfer data to that.

It might work, I'm just concerned that the download might choke over a location that isn't on Drive C.

Hallo.... kann mir hier jemand sagen wie lange das Aufspielen des Updates der Navikarten (ca, 11 GB, hab nicht alles ausgewählt) dauert? Nach 90 min habe ich dann abgebrochen, würde sagen es hat sich aufgehängt.

Oder hat einer Erfahrung wie lange das dauern kann...
Da ich jetzt abgebrochen habe funktioniert das Navi garnicht mehr, es sagt immer keine Karten vorhanden. Wäre schön wenn ich es wieder zum laufen bringen würde. Das Touchscreen Update hat ohne Probleme funktioniert.



Ich hoffe es kann mir geholfen werden.

Hello.... can someone tell me how long it takes to upload the update for the navigation maps (approx. 11 GB, I didn't select everything)? After 90 minutes I stopped, I would say it hung.

Or does anyone have any experience of how long it can take...
Since I have now canceled the navigation system no longer works at all, it always says no maps available. It would be nice if I could get it working again. The touchscreen update worked without any problems.

Sorry cant help as the garage did mine when it was in for the rear suspension repairs a few weeks ago.
