hers better pic showing the issue, the red part I've outlined is the exact part of my splashguard that's damaged (completely snapped off/missing!) on the NS so i cant fix the flap using the furthest fixing hole as there is nothing behind it so this section of the flap is just hanging :)

Of course that will make a difference. It is held on by about 7 screws and 2 bolts.

Oki doke thanks buddy :)

I'm picking it up tommoz so will hopefully sort it, I've managed to fit them all on today including the one i have the issue with but this will fixed on properly tomorrow when i fit the new splash guard :)

heres a few pics, pretty much straight forward and the fit is great considering these are aftermarket £30 for full set, they are very light in weight, but feel sturdy enough, they are flexible also :)

No worries, as long as you are happy with them - but do watch reversing / going up herbs or raised pavements (not that we do such things of course) as they can easily be ripped off and can damage the attached splashguards.

will do thanks for the heads up :)

I tried to replace the splash guard today but came to a halt (well to be honest i barely got started!!) I jacked the car up, removed the wheel, then spent the next 5 mins scratching my head & my chin (as you do!) while staring inside the the wheel arch trying to figure out my next plan of attack! ...but ther eit was, the 1 bolt/fastner that i could not remove! :(

the rest seem like they will be straight forward but this one o have no idea, i tried a torx & hex but none seemed to fit so im not sure how to remove this:

Thanks in advance!

The bolt shown should be one of those push in plastic studs like this, that you release the centre strip up and then it pulls out. So looks like the guard or the stud has been replaced. You'll have to work that one out as looks different.

That looks like the head of an aluminium pop-rivet to me, It's been there a while judging by its condition. Drilling out is the only way of removal I'm afraid.

ah crap, typical!

i think i might just take to local garage and ask if they can fit it, i will have another go over weekend, i don't mind drilling if i need to but i don't want to damage the bracket, what i might do is basically chop the plastic around it, remove the splash guard so its only the bolt left then use mol-grips or a junior hax saw to remove the bolt as once the splashguard is removed i should hopefully have better access to it!

will let you guys know how i get on :)
