Re: Don't go to Gloucester.
Finally after all this time and a concerted effort by the council to beat me with a big stick this has been resolved.

Re: Don't go to Gloucester.
Excellent news!! I should think so too!! Well done Eric, there is nothing like a well deserved and justified victory over officialdom !!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Don't go to Gloucester.
They didn't give up, just kept adding 'evidence' we had a full half hour three way phone call with me the adjudicator and a lady from the council on Tuesday morning.
The notices sent prior to that became more and more menacing, "We are able to increase the penalty to £105." The adjudicator may add costs."
I'm sure that many would have just paid and walked away.
They kept saying that the area was a 'no loading or unloading zone', to most people that would mean commercial vehicles, vans and trucks but to Gloucester council it seems to extend to disabled old great grandmas too.

Bravo sir, thank God there are still people like you to keep the "man" in check. And disgusting they even let it get that far as to reject the appeal in the first place!

Re: Don't go to Gloucester.
Brilliant news Eric. There's unfortunately zero chance of the vindictive official now being taken to task. It might concentrate minds somewhat if they were made to pay expenses personally.
