I think I mentioned there are a myriad of possible fault codes with these, so if / when you ever get your lexia working again, it would be useful to know the actual fault code Peter.

I had something similar happen on my X7 and it needed a new wiper motor. The dealer replaced the drivers side one first, that didn't cure it, they then left that fitted and changed the passengers side and found it resolved the issue.

Peter, Look up Simon Mark Edwards at Somerset Technical Services, I believe he can repair C5 wiper motors.

According to the handbook the fuse for the wipers is 'F12, 30a' in the engine fuse box. There are two 30a fuses but I cant see any indication as to which is 'F12'. While I was investigating the wipers started, I tried pulling both fuses but they still went on working.
