C5 X7 3.0 240 HDi - Transmission acting weird

Hi tredy,

today I took a closer look to the gearbox behaviour when it drives in 3rd. When I accelerate very slowly, the RPMs rise to about 2500/min (converter probably unlocked until now), then it drops down to about 2250/min (locking?) and as soon as it accelerates to 2750/min, it changes to the 4th. This behavour may be dependent on the gas pedal position as well. It seems to me that this behaviour is reproducible and probably no reason to worry.

ok just to find a pattern, what year is your C5, sedan or tourer?
have you tried posting in the german forum or is there maybe already a topic about this? in italy this engine is very rare and nobody replies in the forum there.

December 2013, Tourer. I have not seen anything about it in german forums.

Broken gaspedal can also make AM6 act wierd. I had this on my HDi136.
