I looked at mine in the dark and I saw it too, pulsing once as it did in the digicam- great tip btw.
I do wish I'd scrolled down to the bottom before trying it, lol.

I got some other info that suggested that the HF start makes a strong field around the cable that is well able to disrupt chips. Thinking back, I was sat with the cable running over my leg - right over the pocket where the keys were[:(!]
Oh well, you live and learn[:D]
Anybody got and good 2-button IR remotes they want to part with[:D]
