I am a bit ashamed for not reporting back for so long, but what finally fixed the fault for me was a test at the annual inspection, where they floor the pedal in neutral for a few seconds and measure the opacity of the exhaust gases. I guess that did something in the high-pressure circuit which "fixed" the fuel pressure feedback loop instability causing the oscillation.
