Disconnect the battery of course and wait 10 minutes for capacitors to discharge before doing anything with the wires, but the carpet should come away as it should only be tucked up under the sill and centre console trim. Just try that first.

I haven’t managed to get into my friend garage over the weekend due to him working away but I did manage to have a look down at the airbag control module to track the wires back to passenger seat. I couldn’t seem to see any wire numbers printed on the wires. There would be 2 going from there to the seat airbag yellow and orange I believe, is there somewhere the wires are marked as standard like 15cm down the wire or something? Maybe I just missed as it was dark and miserable weather as I was doing it.

I take it you ment 6548?
I can locate it under the passenger seat no bother but at the actual air bag control unit I can’t due to there not being any wire numbers on the wires as far as I can see. Should I count the pins on the plug and determine it from there by looking at the diagram. I have attached a picture and as you can see it’s just multiple orange and yellow airbag wires with no numbers to identify

Sorry' I've referred to the wrong airbag - I was referring to the wire for the left hand curtain airbag.

So for the passenger seat SIDE airbag, shown as 6563 on the circuit diagram, it should have a 2 pin green plug.

There are 2 wires: 6506 & 6507 and these are both yellow and green
6506 is pin 1 of the seat side socket and goes to pin 22 of the Airbag Central ECU
6507 is pin 2 of the seat side socket and goes to pin 21 of the Airbag Central ECU

I hope that clears it up a little - apologies.

Hi guys, I’m having problem with my airbag too. It is Peugeot 207 SW 2010 estate
I've been told, it had a light damage to the rear bumper, since that it has been repaired but was not driven for 3 years.

I got the car a week ago. I read the ecu needs reset, found service on ebay. Sent to the service center. Now, I got it back
The scan tool shows Row 1 Pretensioner in series Fault (driver and front passenger)

Checked the wires as per diagram all wires are ok. pin 11 and 12 numbered (651,652) shows open circuit.
Both sensors show open circuit. I read sensor should be somewhere 2.2 ohm.
What else do I need to look for apart of these seat belt pretensioner sensors.
Is the way to use some resistors to test the rest of the system?
