Yes! Ive heard the warnings however, my present and previous tow cars are both C5s and both are fitted with universal kits - ie: a voltage sensitive relay for the fridge and a smart 7 for the road lighting. Both relays from Ryder-towing. As my caravan is wired for two sockets, I've stuck to 12S and 12N on the car. I also tow a small 'rubbish' trailer fitted with a 12N plug
