If you do go hunting - it may be in the FSE (Electronic Parking Brake) ECU.

Hi all... i have Citroen DS4 dStyle and have the hand break issue too... i do not have the option to disable or enable it manually and when plugged it into diagnostic box it came up with c155d code but i can not find definite answer into how to fix it anywhere... anyone have an idea?

The C155D fault just means that automatic mode has been disabled and is low down on the rectification priority list as a 5 out of 6 with 1 being the most important.
When this happens, the handbrake goes into back up mode and you will have to apply and release the handbrake manually. You will lose Hill Start Assist and any other automatic functions.
This usually happens as a result of the ESP system (as the ESP system is responsible for managing the handbrake). So if there is a fault with the ESP system then it will have an impact on the handbrake auto functions. So I would start there.
