So I bought all in all six sensors for 40€, and now I have two incompatible to sell on, and three compatible XT's as spare if another one of the original ones fails.

For that price I just don't expect any kind of warranty. You never know what you get when ordering from ebay/aliexpress. At first I ordered sensors without XT (because some say they do also work), but they didn't work at all on my car.

Both orders shipped very fast, 1-2 weeks from HK. Fortunately I could easily live without parking aid for few weeks.

Well thankfuilly, with the X7, I haven't had a single one go as yet
- so maybe the issues were largely a fault on the Mark II facelift. Well it's worth noting that you have used them and that you are pleased with them just in case.

That's ebay.com. The item number won't come up on ebay.co.uk so that could explain why we in the UK can't find them.Xantippa wrote:http://www.ebay.com/itm/252115833340?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

Re: Appetite for Parkings sensor
I bought 4 from a UK seller on Ebay, wrong type the connection layout was wrong, anyway, the address I was told to send them back to was in California, Ebay stepped in and I received a full refund (£26 ish). I then sent message to seller saying send me a prepaid envelope or in 3 months they will be scrapped, they replied saying I was to keep them. So I have 4 new parking sensors to sell on.

Re: Appetite for Parkings sensor
Here's a fun one -on my 2003 Exclusive Estate, my sensors (rear only) gave up the ghost and i get the fault warning beep whenever I select reverse.
The other day I had the offside front headlamp bulb replaced, and after the mech had wiggled it into place, lo and behold, the parking sensors were working again!
It didn't last -unfortunately- but there's obviously a dodgy terminal for them near the o/s front light assembly.
Anyone know more?
