Civil cases = on the balance of probability

Those are the legal test criteria.

That's why I think it's not worth it. Too much cost to make a convincing case to a non expert and high possibility of failure.

I'm not sure this is even worth thinking about. The guide tube is routinely damaged when the clutch fails on most psa cars. If it is not in decent condition it MUST be changed with the clutch. I actually keep them in my van, one for the ma box, one for the be boxes. I deal with ecp on a regular basis and find them very reasonable for warranty issues. Clutches are a wearing part and as such can only be guaranteed for a limited period. I wouldn't waste time worrying about it.

well as a closure I'm not going anywhere with ECP - and have a near new clutch in a box (very little wear on it)

next up though is the gearbox oil leak

gearbox leaks are normally from one of three places: driveshaft seal-easy fix. drain plug-easy fix new washer. Input shaft oil seal-unlikely cos it will ruin your clutch in no time at all!

argh ffs its not the gearbox that's leaking , its the turbo - gearbox is still full of oil (just 3rd is difficult)

any additives that could help?


and guessing I need a replacement turbo
