Make sure to get 50 or so light bulbs. It is great fun (NOT) taking the instrument panel out, so when people do, they replace all of the bulbs, so that they do not have to do it again anytime soon. The heater has two bulbs that have short captive holders, but all the rest are capless. Check them before fitting, sometimes you might get a dud, or one of the wires is in the wrong place. You will understand how when you see them.

Thanks again Jim, last question the replacement bulbs for the heater panel, are they the same as the dash bulbs ? I need to change the lower ones.

No, they're not Jason.. They look nearly identical but are in fact shorter... They ened to be so they don't foul the lever mechanisms..

I'll go and find out the type for you.. Be back in a bit...

Jason, these are the ones you need for the heater:

R509TMBK

Capless 286 are fine for the instrument panel as although the bulbs appear to be cap type, teh bulbs them selves just pull out of the caps and can be replaced.. To buy caps and all works out expensive..

Ebay often have good deals on bulk 286 bulbs (for example) but do take James's advice and get more than you need as some will be duff...

Ebay can also provide the Heater ones too.. Search on R509TMBK...

These are the normal dashboard light bulbs. I cannot speak for this seller, but the reason I chose this one is because the image shows a good close-up of the bulb, which shows how the wire loops around the base;
