I would rather take my chances with an auto than a £500 replacement clutch/DMF.

9 auto cars now. Have not stripped any of them , or been let down with the boxes.

I agree its down to ensuring a good history and fluid changes sealed box for life or not!

My 406 has done 237k miles and still has the original clutch and DMF, C5 200k also original. 8-)

Yes but no one drives like you peter... yur probably the only last carefull feather foot driver left!!! :rofl2:

Not many maybe Paul but I see an increasing number of drivers in the nearside lane driving at my speed - I even occaisionally overtake one. :shock: :-D
