I'm so gutted that I have not got the time or space for another one or two Activa's to save. Going to have a word in my mates shell like and see if he any space where I can store a vehicle or maybe two at a push. Do not how ever think the wife will be too impressed.

It hurts in whole orders of magnitude far greater knowing the histories and expenditure along the way
for these. Unfortunately I can't switch my heart off when my head tells me what I need to do next.

And don't tell citroenmad chris this but it pains me to admit my daily driver is biff about hack
'02 2.0i 16v LPG CS estate when I'm going to be throwing away CX GTi turbos, Prestiges, V6 XM
and Xantiae and GSA's.

If I could only find some space that won't bankrupt me.

Could you two perhaps not join forces to find a mutual solution?

Be nice if could all club together an find common ground to store all these old future classics.
Maybe even set a museum up as a course of preserving some of them. Wonder how much we would all need to put in,to rent a small compound or warehouse.
Just an idea.

If only we had an old church.... ;)

If this ends up going to the scrappers I think my idea of having a weekend where we could all come down and strip them would be a good one.
I'd cast dibs on a few bits including the door badges, boot badge, leather and some engine pipework, Rams and strut tops if they are decent.

You'd be on your own then - because that's all the bits everyone else would want from an Activa as well, so anyone else would just be there as free labour :rofl2:

You have had the same idea I had (and messaged him about a few weeks ago).
I should add that I don't exactly have enough spare cash laying around either though

I've already told the wife if i win the lottery she can have whatever car she wants but i am sticking to my two Activas. Gonna get myself a large garage put some ramps in and invite you guys up to use the facilities so no more on our backs under leaking Activas and don't worry i'd pay for you fuel here and back.

Anybody know what's happened with Andy's collection, wish I had the space for at least one more Activa. One in the garage and one on the driveway is about as much as the wife will tolerate for now. And slow work on them both doesn't help with the nagging factor from the wife. As long as I keep working on her focus when it needs it I get away with having two Activas.

So many Activae to save and very little space or cash. We all need to set up a museum dedicated to the Activa badge. :-D :-D [-o< [-o<
