Hi again guy's
Driving the car and it overheated after about 10 to 15 mins and had to stop...I have changed the Thermostat and flushed the radiator..bled the cooling system and its still the same..Does anyone have the part number for the sensor just below the thermostat housing ?...i have tried alsorts to try and get one but no joy yet..its not the head either because the oil is nice and new

The Light and the fan remained on after new thermo and bleeding..First time i had actually drove it with the light/fan on..so it seems it must be the temp sensor..which i need a Part no for.

If the fan was running, and it still overheated, then something is very wrong somewhere.....

How do you know it overheated if the light was already on? Did it stop in a cloud of steam?

Not sure how clean oil signifies that the head gasket is not away..... my money is either the head gasket or the water pump is shot.

Fit a new sensor and see if the light goes off, then you can tackle the overheating from there.
