to be hones im conssidering putting a 1.9 hdi in so ican on run it veg but that wont be ubtill next year now

I am not sure the HDi engines CAN run on veg.

I can't see that it will be worn out at 210k, if it starts OK the compression must be alright. Presumably its a non turbo? They never did have a lot of power. You would probably find a complete turbo engine and gearbox for not a lot of money.

60bhp if its an xud7 engine, so not v-powerful.

ok problem solved ( sort of ) anyone who whants a universal roof rack from the berlingo let me know and make an offer because it needs to come of before the weekend as the insurance salvage company will be coming to collect thanks intirely go to the master van driver behind me and mr post man in front on monday evening.

yeah mine is totaled the renault has a smashed bumper and mister royal mail in a transit got away without a scratch lucky devil. No real injuries to talk about just a little whiplash from the whole sandwich effect oh and a broken pen the insurance still owe me 70p for that.
