I think Boris is a total arse, but I have some begrudging respect for him driving around in that old tub. It's probably not caused as much pollution as a nice shiny new hybrid sprodewagen would.

Sadly not, I zoomed the pic and he's definitely using the green pump..

That said, being Boris, he could be misfuelling it..

It's a common famous person's trick to avoid being spotted, that's all. I bet he's got rid of it now or at least removed the Scotland sticker from the back.

I sort of respect loaded people who drive around in old wrecks. I know the IKEA boss drove around in an old Volvo 240 Estate for many years, when he could afford something rather better, and Bill Gates was driving around in a 10 year old Porsche 911 back in 2005 or so. One of the American directors of a pharmaceutical company in worked for for years drove around in a battered Sierra 1.6, which I found hilarious as nearly all the other directors were driven to work in the usual high-end Mercs.

I'm just a grumpy Northern git.

Why do you think I drive two beat up old Xantias and a poverty-spec. C1

It's certainly not because I'm loaded :(
