Partner/Berlingo lower "balljoint"

i spoz its possible someone ordered the complete arms before checking, and couldnt bother sending them back,

or even the bush's were cream cracked as well as the swivels, and it might have been a cheaper option?????

GSF show the complete arms at £58.14 each.

I don't suppose it matters which type I fit now then if I'm doing the whole wishbone (and both sides)? I assume changing the wishbone is "just" a matter of disconnecting the hub at the balljoint and then undoing the nuts at the 2 bushes?

Just one more question then - what sort of torque should I apply to the bolts or should "white knuckles & quarter of a turn" do?

I popped into my local motor factors today to get a quote for wishbones today just for comparison and it turns out they had some on the shelf for £40 a side so I had them there & then. Apart from the balljoint needing a bit of heat and some extra leverage with a balljoint breaker and a cold chisel, the hardest bit was getting the rear "P" bush to sit flat so I could get the big bolt through it and the anti-roll bar mount.

I couldn't find any official torque figures in my Berlingo data.

Common sense would apply, I have seen a fallback set of torque tables for imperial bolts that goes by thread dimensions and bolt grade - might have been in a tractor manual.

i hope it were not that orible E bunch,
as in my experience of the bush's they fell apart within the year, absolute crap

I can't get the P bush to sit flat and if I jack up at the ball joint it pushes the anti-roll bar bush bracket up so I can't get them all in line.
Any advice?

I had that trouble with a ZX arm - I put a G clamp around the bracket and pulled it down so I could get the bolts in.

have you got both front wheels off the ground, as this is the easier wat to do these sort of jobs
