GOOD, then a good screen reseal I would bet. Have you checked the top of the window seals ?

Lay some paper down all over and see where it gets wet first ?...Is it wet Under the seats ??...if so protect the Air Bag connections that live there from damp.

I have known cars collect water through badly fitted/sealed rear lights where the water seeped into the boot space and eventually into the car. Also rear doors that are not quite pulling tight onto the seal at the top can allow water in. Eventually it finds its way to the lowest point... the footwell. If you say its wet under the seats it may well have come in at the back. Is it wet under the rear seat?

I havent found any evidence of water coming in through the back of the car but did notice that id number in the windscreen has frosted up so going to contact the company that fitted it a few weeks ago and get it resealed properly,hopefully that will do the trick.

I had the windscreen resealed yesterday and the guy who done it said the seal was OK and was not leaking, he also told me that the c5 is known for leaking water from the pollan filter being blocked so I am now going to explore that and see where it takes me.

Mine hasn't had an undertray sine I bought it, makes working on it easier! I have water on the rear carpets, I think its getting in past the door seal as I could see water laying in the grooves, if its in good condition try smearing the edge with silicon grease or even silicon polish, if the water is getting in by capilliary action this should stop it.

I think I get water in the rear court light.. presumably from aerial ,, not done anything about it yet to be honest..

Yes but without the under tray where will the next rabbit end up ? Or are you hoping for rabbit stew after he's been minced up by the accessory belt ?

The undertray puts many off from doing their own basic maintenance, i.e oil change. Good for the garage trade...

Different vehicle all together but on a MK1 Sharan that we had, I once took the tray off to service the car and for whatever reason didnt put it back on again. Engine ran a little hotter and there was more road noise. On the up side, found out the car had an oil leak as it dripped on to the road instead of the tray so got that fixed.

On the Berlingo I usually find those stupid engine cover clips I lost or that popped off on the undertray when I service it. That's the only use for it that I can see.

I've found them to be very efficient spanner catchers, they're pretty good at soaking up LHM too, if you do something stupid like I did.

Too efficient. I'd rather my spanners dropped straight out the bottom then I didn't have to fart around with an undertray and stupid clips :-p

I didn't necessarily mean my own spanners, quite a harvest first time mine was removed.
