eBay has plenty of people selling second hand keys, probably not even aware that they cannot be reprogrammed to another car, and they find the re-pairing instructions and think that would work to the person they sell them to. And of course people probably trying to make a quick buck out of other people not really investigating whether they can program a key to a different car.
I have however recently contacted these guys, who were very informative, stating that they can only get information for UK registered vehicles to be able to verify ownership, and suggested I either go to a Swedish auto-locksmith, or failing that the dealers. Their header also says about a 24hr telephone number, so you could give them a call and discuss your issue, they also have the bit on that page about the warning about buying 2nd hand keys from eBay/Scrappies.
