Jim, why not nab that V6 that's on ebay at the moment? Seller is desperate to move it on.

I'm tempted on it for another Activa conversion, but I'd prefer a manual gearbox. [-X [-X I've not got space in my current workshop, but come the New Year, I will be relocating to a unit 5 mins from where I live, so SWMBO will know where to find me!

It's tempting but a glance of my blog will show it's not a viable prospect at the moment :(

Well my 1950 Land Rover is this winter's project.

Would it make much difference if you started with an estate or saloon?

It would lose loads of strength with no roof. The cab would need some beefing up.

A friend showed me a drawing of a Xantia Coupe an artist friend of his drew for him. It had been very well thought out and had a good bit of influence from the 406 Coupe.

The C6 Pallas is a fab car IMO. When Citroen sold a few years ago it dad tried to buy it however he was the underbidder and it made strong money (~£22K I think) and later sold again through Bonhams IIRC at Goodwood. Now it resides at a friends of a friends... Maybe one day it will reside here...
