Criminally neglected CX - this makes me so angry!!!

It is a hideous combination! I've seen another CX painted in a similar blue and looks evil - the colour itself was "Audi Blue" that really suits them well, just not on a CX...

Is that interior standard fitment to those hearse's?

Thankfully not...

The car was originally white, and the Earl had it resprayed this very nice blue, reupholstered the interior in a paisley print material, with red carpet, luggage cover, and electric tilt sunroof ( nothing to do with citroen!)

There is a scabby looking CX 20 Familiale near me that has been repainted in Ford tractor blue. It looks dreadful.

Seriously.... some people should never EVER be allowed to own cars. I hope I never meet this guy. Certainly, he should never be welcome at a CX meet!

Just looking at that link to e-bay showing the black Turbo 1 I thought I recognised the registration and on checking some photos I see that I owned this car in the past. Must be 20 years ago when it looked a lot shinier. Sort of tempted to buy it and restore as I missed my old Turbo 1 in black that Roger sold to someone in Scotland I think, it was collected the day I rang to make an offer. Shucks!

Interesting Peter - the other Black S1 Turbo you mention must have been C777 EYD that resides now with a chap called Neil up in Scotland, as you say.

I have heard on the grapevine that the person bidding on it at the moment will restore it back to it's former glory, and it'll go with his other many CXs - it'd be in safe hands...

The Series 1 Turbo's are very special - dad's favourite in fact...

I have a late B reg CX 2500ie Series one Familiale on the road,and a 1983 2500 Diesel Familiale.....not on the road! Good for storing spares in though.
