Hi just a quick update to this thread.
The reason our pump did'nt work has now become obvious.
Not so much pump failure more like AA man failure muppet (check my other post on how he did it).
But would be keen to keep this thread going for awhile.
Any others out there thinking the pump has failed and not sure!!,
come on here and describe whats happening SYMPTONS and the like.
And if your brave enough have a go at fixing it.
But dont pull apart your pump apart on a whim it really should'nt be messed with unless you are confident.Citrojim has a nice little tutorial on seal replacement.
I still want to know what can make a pump FAIL.
