Annnnd its back. Good fun. I guess the coil pack is dying and closing the plugs down just bought me a little time. Taking it to the Citroen specialist tomorrow, I'll post whatever he finds for future record.

I hope they are (a.) competent and (b.) honest enough to tell you the cause.

For what it will cost you, the Lexia becomes even better value...
