1993 xantia 1.9td - a good buy?

Put it this way! It KEEPS all height corrector linkages ALL in working state, because as the car sinks, it presses the lever on the anti roll bar against the height controller lever, an so keeping it moving...

An anti sink car will only really move the levers when the driver manually lowers the car - OR if nice soft spheres are fitted...

Why oh why did Citroen add the anti-sink, apart from the fact it keeps the car up and looks more 'normal' when parked, i can't see any other advantages. Also the 6+2 pump is so slow!

That's it. Speak to any early model Xm owner and hear them mention the
fragile Nosecone being split by clumsy park by feel mums in the family
battlebus or hyped up 2wd kerb climber lifestyle crap. Same for the soft
bodywork on the Cx and Gs where vulnerable panels are prone after
dropping from running height. Never seen the attraction of the car sinking
as it just traps the damp under the car and on older models does nasties
to the high pressure pipes. Don't go for the beached whale looks either and
most definitely not a basking shark - a D can look very frumpy flat on it's
skids too IMHO.
