You bet! I did a fast drive down to Toulouse in mine a few Sundays ago and back home again on Monday. 1410 miles door to door at 47.5 mpg - brim to brim.

Do you have the optional parking pack? That looks pretty good, with the parking space size guide.

I was looking at around 14 2009 C5 2.0HDi Exclusive Auto's at car supermarkets and through the Citroen Select used car network but I didn't come across a single car fitted with front parking sensors and the parking gap system or the Lane Departure system. These were really pushed in the advertising so I'm suprised they are so rare.

I would have liked full leather and the massaging heated seats though. I only came across a couple with leather but the premium being asked for these was too high.
I'll miss the heated seats, my Mondeo had 5 level heated seats and 5 level chilled seats, oh and the heated front screen. I do wish Ford would licence other manufacturers yo use the technology.

MPG of the 138 is virtually the same as my 2.0HDi 110, which is impressive for a heavier car with more power.

On a recent trip to scotland for a week away our 138 did 51.4MPG. It averages around 46MPG, actual not on the trip computer.

The parking pack does seem quite rare. Ive seen a few with it but i do wonder why its not a more common option. LDW system seems a very rare option on every car (C4s, previous 5s and the new C5).
