Yep, that worked perfectly, all done in less than the time it took for my tea to go cold
The gearstick lock slowed things down a bit. Just waiting for my son to clean the centre console before putting it back ( some time in the autumn probably).
On the downside I service my daughter's SAAB this afternoon and did six loads of washing plus loaded a dongle with all my Tom Waites albums and took to my wife to put on her computer and thence to her MP3 player.
On emptying the last load of washing a few minutes ago I discover the said 16GB dongle in the washing machine door seal
Should be clean and virus-free anyway
