CitroJim are you able to carry out these repairs or are you more of an advisor on this forum? 8)

Never, ever worry about going off-topic in this forum :D It is encouraged as some very interesting discussions result from it.

And banter (such as what is going on between Paul and I over Hydractive) is perfectly normal on here. This is a very, very friendly forum... Thought I'd better explain that before you wondered what was going on. As I say, all very normal on here...

You just wait until you have had a spin in my Activa Paul

Yes, I am and by appointment and after the snow has melted, we can do. I also have a speed sensor here so we could look at that at the same time...

I'm not a tremendous distance away from you...

Hi brmartyn, welcome to the forum :)

I had wondered what had happened to stevetheskaterboy, as last i heard he was in Finland, seems the car had a good trip there and back then. It did look very smart in the pictures he posted of it.

Enjoy your Xantia ownership :D

I drive a Series one, 1994 L reg TD SX, but I do actually prefer the Series 2 car from 1998 onwards..

Id have to have a HDi 110bhp model to replace this ole TD if ever she decides shes had enough...

But at 220k I cant see that happening just yet!
