Yes Steve I think I agree, they may be on the same in/outlet, but they are ported you can tell be the shape of the design..it wouldn't work other wise..

If Ken has cleanly flushed the matrix, it can only be a low water supply, caused by my "Bad News" post..

Once the Head Gasket has reduced water ways, there isn't much chance of clearing it.. unless you want to drain the flush your cooling system once a week..
